💎 New Feature: Recurring Notifications

We are excited to announce a new way to re-engage your customers on Messenger; the Recurring Notification.
This feature enables you to send reminders to subscribers and customers on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, with their prior permission, AFTER 24 hours of the last interaction.
Similar to the One Time Notification tool in Clever Messenger, the Recurring Notification allows customers to have control over the experience. To send Recurring Notifications, you must first receive permission from subscribers through opt-in, and subscribers can choose to opt out at any time.

Recurring Notifications can be used to send time-sensitive marketing campaigns, create drip campaigns, and follow up with customers after a conversation has ended.

The feature is broken down into 3 communication windows:

  • Daily (over a 6-month period)
  • Weekly (over a 9-month period)
  • Monthly (over a 12-month period)

A day before the Notification window closes, all customers who opted-in will automatically receive a message to re-opt in to continue receiving messages.

Note, this is the first version as we're looking into how we can use this with our Broadcasting tool, so you won't be limited based on the set times, and it will make it easier to send out dynamic cards. However, all is still possible with the current set up, we decided to move with this release first to see how this will be used, affect our platform, and we'll go from there.
